Our Coaches

Patty Ann Romero has been coaching cheerleading for over 35 years. She is the owner and founder of Central Jersey Allstars. Ms. Romero has coached athletes in all areas of cheerleading from catholic schools, recreation, and all star cheerleading. She has also appeared in two episodes of Jersey Cheer on Lifetime, six hour long episodes of CHEER! on CMT, and 30 episodes of Cheerleaders NJ on Awesomeness TV. Patty Ann is USASF certified.

Gina cheered for CJA for 13 years. She has coached for CJA since 2013. Gina is the All Star Director for Central Jersey All Stars as well as a Tumbling Instructor for the program. She is currently a coach of the two-time Worlds Bronze Champion, Bombshells, Team Gunz, Open Fire and Gunsmoke. Gina is USASF Certified and was selected for the USASF's 'Leadership Class of 2015' and 'Top 35 Under 35'. She has recently completed RYT 200 Hours.

Michele has been with CJA for 21 years. She is a Team Gunz Alumni. Michele is a 16th Year NCA Head Instructor. She has received the NCA Excellence in leadership award in 2013 and the head instructor "raving fans" award for 2019. Michele is USA cheer safety certified. Michele is a Physical Education/Health Teacher in Central New Jersey. Michele is USASF Certified.

Pam has been a member of the CJA Coaching staff since 2010. She was a former CJA Open Cheerleader for 5 years. She has cheered for Pop Warner, High School & All Star. Pam is a Monmouth University Graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Communication with a Concentration in Public Relations and Journalism. She is USASF Certified.

Lori has been a member of the CJA Coaching staff since 2011. She cheered for 10 years at the pop warner and all star levels. Lori was also a Pop Warner and All Star Coach and Choreographer. She is USASF Certified.

Kevin 'Dumo' has been a tumbling instructor for CJA for 12 Years. He has been coaching for 6 years. Dumo has been a NCA Instructor for 11 years and in 2018 was named "Top Head Instructor" in the Northeast. He has 14 years of cheerleading experience at the high school, college and all star level. Dumo graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education. He participated in Disney's Frozen Celebration Parade in 2014 and The 2019 NCA Far East Camp in Iwakuni, Japan. Dumo is USASF Certified.

Sefa is currently attending Raritan Valley College as a Communications major with a concentration in Public Relations. Sefa has been a member of CJA since 2015 and is a 2018 Alumni of 'Team Gunz'. He has cheered at both the allstar and high school levels. Sefa also works as an NCA staff instructor with ACCA Certification and is USASF Certified.

Bryan is a full-time student at Saint Peter's University where he is studying to become a Health and Physical Education Teacher. He has cheered at both the High School and competitive Recreation level. Bryan is USASF Credentialed.

Brianna is a Kean University graduate with a B.S. in Exercise Science. She graduated as a Team Gunz alumni in 2015. She has been with CJA since 2011 and started coaching at CJA in 2014. This is Brianna's 3rd year as an NCA instructor. She is USASF Certified.

Rosalie "RoRo" is currently studying Finance at Montclair State University. She was a cheerleader for 7 years and has been coaching for 2 years. This is her 3rd season with CJA. Rosalie is USASF Certified.
