“CJA has been such a blessing for our family. At our former gym, it was heartbreaking as a mother to watch my girls go from feeling welcomed and loved by their first coach to eventually feeling overlooked, underestimated, and misunderstood by the next. We realized we needed a gym environment and culture that was a better fit for our family, so after seeing CJA at a competition and learning more about them, my girls agreed to tryout. They went into tryouts with low expectations, but to their surprise, they earned spots on CJA’s Level 5 and Worlds teams, and within days, we knew we had made the right decision. “As a mother, there are very few things more emotional and rewarding than watching your child grow in confidence, determination, and strength. Enrolling my 3-year-old, Caleigha, at Central Jersey Allstars (CJA) last year has truly been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Having an extensive cheer background, I understood how important it was to place my daughter in the right environment from the very beginning. I knew what I wanted in a gym - an environment with coaches who would build strong athletes while also building confidence, discipline, and character. When I was deciding where to bring Caleigha, I wanted her with the best. I trusted CJA with that responsibility, and they did not disappoint! In just two months, I watched her gain tumbling skills and perfect her balance. However, even more meaningful than the skills themselves has been the transformation in who she is becoming as a young athlete and person. Caleigha has become more focused, determined, and resilient. Almost every day, she asks me, “When is the next competition?” because she is so excited to be part of something bigger than herself. Seeing that passion in such a young child is incredibly special. She now understands the value of practice, discipline, and pushing herself even when something is difficult.
