During my years working with CJA, I can honestly say I have made a life-long bond. Each time I walk into the gym, I am greeted with warm hugs, big smiles, and the utmost respect from all the athletes and staff. The atmosphere at CJA is that of well-oiled machine. When the athletes arrive, they know what is expected of them and they work hard to not only uphold but exceed those expectations. I am constantly in awe of how well the gym is run, how professional the staff is, how immaculate the facility is, and how coachable and attentive the athletes are. Working with CJA is so rewarding because I know that the coaches and athletes are willing to do whatever it takes to help their team and teammates be as successful as possible. I am beyond blessed for the opportunity to work with one of the country’s best gyms and am utterly thankful for my relationship with Patty Ann and the rest of my CJA family… It really is a love like no other!”
This is our third year with CJA. When I asked Ally to tell me what her favorite thing is about CJA, she responded, “All the bonds I make and the love everyone has for each other.” She didn’t say “being a Bronze World Champion,” and that speaks volumes for the values being instilled in the athletes every day in the gym. Everyone told us since day one that CJA was different. Ally’s response proves that to be true. CJA trains the best cheerleaders in New Jersey, while also teaching them to be the best people they can be. Ally asked me what my favorite thing is about CJA, and I told her that they are helping to raise a strong, confident woman who will make the world a better place.
Today Angela is 18. I fluctuate between tears, pride and excitement. I would be remiss not to reach out to you (and hope you share with your staff) my enormous gratitude for the positive role CJA had played for us since she was a baby. I have often thought about the time, the money and would not have done it any other way. I didn’t build a beach house but instead, together, with the help of your program, I built a better young woman. As a single, working mother I have always appreciated the extended family we’ve had through CJA. I am forever grateful.
Our CJA story
Having already spent a few years in all star cheer, we knew what we were looking for in a program: I wanted organization, responsiveness, and commitment for my child to become better than she already was. My daughter wanted to make friends, have fun and be a part of a winning team. We found all that and more at Central Jersey Allstars.
The first time we saw CJA compete we were hooked. We were mesmerized not just by the talented athletes on the mat, but equally by the support they were receiving from all the other coaches and parents from the gym who came to cheer them on. Now that we have three children in the program, we experience that same genuine excitement and support for every team at every performance.
As parents we take pride in watching our daughters compete at the highest level and succeed against the toughest teams in the sport. As athletes they have found talents inside to be nurtured and an environment where they can get away from whatever else is happening in school or at home. While their talents and skills are not equal, they are treated as though they are and each have an opportunity to shine.
CJA is more than a team & a gym. It is a second family and a safe home. Sophie has learned to be part of a team & have confidence in herself and her skills. CJA has taught her to hold herself to a higher standard. Her cheer work ethic has extended to her school work & family. Her performance on the mat is equaled by her performance and determination in the classroom; her commitment to her team is echoed in her love and appreciation for her family. CJA has taught her to not accept anything less than the very best she can be.
